Environmental Analysis
The 2010-2011 edition is being posted in segments throughout the year on the AMA Web site. Chapters on health inequities, patient expectations and perceptions, health economics, and public health infrastructure are also now available.
Of particular interest to recruiters, an updated chapter on Health Care Resources, covering physician supply, employment, and recruitment, with implications for rural communities and inner cities, is slated for release this summer. Appendix II: Graduate Medical Education
The American Medical Association (AMA) and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) maintain a database of information on graduate medical education (GME) training programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and of the residents and fellows in them.
